Ashe Services for Aging is the only non-profit, locally owned and operated agency in Ashe County providing In-Home Aide services.
We are an established, licensed agency, accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, and have been providing quality in-home care since 1977.
We provide quality care in the home for those needing assistance with:
- Bathing & other personal care needs, including oral hygiene, hair care, skin care, shaving & grooming
- Help with ambulation & physical exercise
- Preparation of meals, including special diets & assistance with eating
- Medication monitoring
- Routine tasks of light housekeeping, laundry & shopping for essentials
- Home management
- Board certified nurse aide services
In-Home Aide Services are available to eligible clients of all ages, including Medicaid recipients.

Ashe Services for Aging has a highly trained, professional staff consisting of RN’s, Social Workers, & Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s), who were individually chosen for their ability to provide caring, dependable, superior service. They are given the supervision & tools they need to provide the highest quality care to clients & their families.
Our goal is to provide assistance & companionship necessary for people to be safe & as independent as possible in their own homes. Services are available to all ages & are tailored to meet the needs of each client.

*Evening & weekend hours are available for in-home aide services. An RN is on call 24/7, and nursing supervision is available during all hours of service.
