Ashe Services for Aging's Mission is to provide services, intergenerational activities, and opportunities to the elderly and disabled adults of Ashe County that enhance their dignity and help them maintain their independence at home.

Chaplain Greg Topczewski

Every 1st & 3rd Tuesday, Chaplain Greg Topczewski will visit the Ashe Senior Center from 11am to 2pm. He offers a variety of services including private counseling, spiritual guidance, and more.

Caregiver Support Group

The Ashe Senior Center hosts caregiver support group meetings on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 4pm. Participants can exchange information, talk through issues, learn about community resources, and more.

Avon & Watch Sale

Join Ted & Vivian on September 12th from 9am until noon. They will be offering a variety of watches and Avon products for purchase.

Bake Sale

The Senior Center will be holding a bake sale September 20th & 21st from 8am - 4pm. Come enjoy some delicious baked goods.

Yard Sale

The Senior Center will be holding a yard sale September 20th & 21st from 8am - 4pm. Stop by and take a look at some of the items we have up for sale.

Buddy Walk

On September 22nd at 10am the Senior Center will host a Buddy Walk in support of the National Down Syndrome Society.

Tai Chi Classes

The Senior Center is holding Tai Chi classes for Arthritis and fall prevention. Classes are on Mondays at 1pm starting July 16th, 2018 and will run through December 17th, 2018. Please call the Senior Center for more information at 336-246-4347, or feel free to drop by and sign up.

Vaya Health Geriatric & Adult Mental Health Presentations

Throughout 2018 the Senior Center will host a variety of presentations on mental health, brought to you by Vaya Health's Geriatric & Adult Mental Health Specialty Team. Join us for Bingo events from 10:30 until 11:30am, and the main presentation from 2pm - 3pm. Please see the Bingo and Presentation flyers to see when each event will be held.
