Virtual Dementia Tour

The Virtual Dementia Tour—a scientifically proven method of building a greater understanding of dementia through the use of patented sensory tools and instruction— is Your Window into Their World. During a Virtual Dementia Tour experience, trained facilitators guide participants outfitted with patented devices that alter their senses while they try to complete common everyday tasks. Powerful Tools For Caregivers

ARE YOU TAKING CARE OF A RELATIVE OR FAMILY MEMBER? Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a 6-week educational program designed to provide you the "caregiver" the tools you need to take care of yourself while caring for a loved one. Classes consists of interactive sessions, discussions and brainstorming to help you take the "tools" you choose and put them into action in your life.

Chaplain Greg Topczewski

Every 1st & 3rd Tuesday, Chaplain Greg Topczewski will visit the Ashe Senior Center from 11am to 2pm. He offers a variety of services including private counseling, spiritual guidance, and more.

Caregiver Support Group

The Ashe Senior Center hosts caregiver support group meetings on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 4pm. Participants can exchange information, talk through issues, learn about community resources, and more. See flyer for full details.

Supportive Journaling Community

Safe and Confidential Community Approach for Survivors of Sexual Violence, their family and caregivers to find healing and connect. Meeting in Classroom 2 on the 2nd Friday of Every Month from 10:00a.m.-11:30am.
