Sometimes the most magical moments in life are also the most ordinary.  Going fishing, having coffee with a friend, or a spontaneous dance party can do more for the soul than any major life accomplishment can.  Generations Ashe has a mission to connect people, embrace challenges and enrich lives from generation to generation, and that is best displayed through our Adult Day Health Center and Child Development Center.  There is nothing groundbreaking being done here, only the compilation of ordinary, but magical moments that create incredible programs for our participants.  And we wouldn’t be able to do it without you.

For our 2024 Spring Giving Campaign, we are asking for your help in keeping those moments alive. Starting now and continuing throughout the end of June, we are offering you an opportunity to recognize your mother, father, grandparent, or any other special person in your life.  Along with your monetary donation, include the name of the person you would like to honor and a brief example of how they created ordinary, but magical moments for you growing up.  Maybe it was sitting on the porch swing and watching lightning bugs dance on a summer night.  Or maybe it was those Sunday drives “just because”.   If possible, include a picture of your loved one as well. 

Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated.  Gifts of $50 or more will have your loved one’s picture and story featured on our email and social media outlets, and gifts of $100 or more will also be displayed on our Family Tree in the Senior Center lobby.

Let’s all reflect on those ordinary but magical memories growing up, and, in turn do our part to make sure our Adult Day Health Center and Child Development Center can continue to foster those moments as well.
