Ashe Senior Village

Ashe Senior Village, a non-profit managed by Ashe Services for Aging, Inc., provides attractive and affordable housing for low-income individuals, age 62 and older.

Located on our large, well-maintained campus, the proximity of our apartments to our Senior Center provides residents with the opportunity to participate in all Senior Center activities, which include daily meals, exercise room, public computers, public Wi-Fi, multiple classes, assistance with Medicare enrollment and much more!

We are also an Ashe County Transportation Authority Shuttle stop. Grocery stores, pharmacies, public parks, public library, dining and historic downtown shopping are within two miles. Healthcare is also close with our local hospital and urgent care less than five miles away.

We have 24 one-bedroom units with easy access to all entrances, common areas, laundry and mailboxes. Two units have additional features for the hearing impaired and wheelchair users. All apartments have interior and exterior entrances with porches and storage rooms.

No. However, we have a spacious laundry area for residents to do their laundry at their convenience.
Rent is 30% of your adjusted income. Adjusted income is your gross minus eligible medical expenses.
There is no fee. Before final lease approval a criminal and credit check will be performed while assets and expenditures are confirmed.
