Ashe Drive Thru Wills Clinic

The Ashe Senior Center will be partnering with Legal Aide of North Carolina to hold an Ashe Drive Thru Wills Clinic that will be held outside the Senior Center on Thursday, December 17th from 8am – 11am.
This clinic will be a wills only clinic.
Anyone who is interested should contact the Senior Center no later than November 20, 2020. If you sign up, paralegal Karen Wilson, from the Senior Law Project of Legal Aid of NC, will be calling to screen clients. Through that process, Karen will ask information about your finances and household. This is how they are able to provide this service for free. Then, you will be assigned to attorney Kim Eggers or potentially one of her colleagues at the Senior Law Project. There are only 12 slots available. A waiting list will be created for those who do not receive one of the 12 slots.
Participants will stay in their vehicles and the attorney plus two witnesses will witness the wills. We ask that participants wear your masks.
