The Power of the Pivot – Part 1

Be inspired to unleash your purpose. The adversity, self-doubt, and uncertainty of the past 18 months might seem overwhelming, but they also offer tremendous opportunity to pivot – that is, to find true purpose in our lives. Join others in the Mountain Region as we discuss four universal themes in Jacqueline Mims’s book “Flawed Flesh, Perfect Purpose”: forgiveness, knowing your self-work, positive affirmations, and embracing challenges. The first 20 registrants will receive a free copy of the book. Ms. Mims is the first African-American civil servant to be certified as a spacecraft ground controller for NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center’s unmanned spacecraft (one of NASA’s hidden figures). She is an entrepreneur and the founder of My Global STEM Academy, a non-profit in Wake County, NC.
