The Power of the Pivot – Part 2

Are you living life with purpose? Whether you have already made a pivot toward a more purposeful life or are curious about how to do it, this event is for you. In Part 2, Jacqueline Mims will be part of our live discussion about her book, “Flawed Flesh, Perfect Purpose.” Grounded in her personal story and told through an equity lens, the book shares tools for moving into a life of perfect purpose. A Q&A session will follow the book discussion. Ms. Mims is the first African-American civil servant to be certified as a spacecraft ground controller for NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center’s unmanned spacecraft (one of NASA’s hidden figures). She is an entrepreneur and the founder of My Global STEM Academy, a non-profit in Wake County, NC.
