Volunteer Initiative Canned Food Drive

The Ashe County Volunteer Initiative will once again be hosting their Annual Canned Food Drive from October 8th – December 3rd. Boxes will be placed at the following locations and all donated items will be split equally among all of the local food pantries.
Ashe County Library, 5/3 Bank, First Citizens Bank, LifeStore branches in West Jefferson, Mount Jefferson and the corporate offices across from Boondocks, Medi-Home Health & Hospice, Generations Senior Center, Generations Ashe, United Chemi-Con, Ingles and Jefferson Drug.
Monetary donations are also accepted and may be made securely online by clicking here. For the fund, please select Canned Food Drive. Checks or cash are also accepted and may be dropped off or mailed to Generations Ashe, c/o Volunteer Initiative Program, 180 ChattyRob Lane, West Jefferson, NC 28694.
